Turn Those Papers into a “Wall of Fame” Display

Our fabulous contributor Emily, of Entertaining with Emily, isn’t the only mom out there to loathe that mountain of artwork and papers that comes home with the kids every week. Of course, as parents we want to proudly display all their efforts and successes, but isn’t there a way to do it so it doesn’t look like a tornado hit the fridge? Why yes, there is! (more…)

This post has been sponsored by ZonePerfect. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Let’s get prepared for those little lull times of boredom by creating a dedicated station for solo play, crafts and snacks. Because seriously, all they care about is the snacks. (more…)

Modern Boy’s Bedroom Reveal

Modern Boy's Room

Back when I started Little Crown Interiors, one of my very first clients was living in a traditional home in Beverly Hills but loved modern design. Plus, Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday of the year. I love everything about it—the food, the decor, the traditions and the time to be home and grateful for the simple things. (more…)

Boy's Room with Wood Accent Wall

Over on our sister site Project Nursery, we suggest keeping the big kid room in mind when designing a nursery. For one, you’re creating a design you love, why not keep it for more than a couple years? Plus, let’s be honest, it’s a whole lot easier on the budget. With the right forethought, you can make a seamless transition from nursery to big kid room by just changing out a few details here and there. (more…)
