Move over Elf, There’s a Turkey on Your Tail

Turkey on the Table

Fall is here and we couldn’t be more excited. I love the season of chunky knit sweaters and high boots (side note, coveting the suede over the knee boots that are everywhere, you?) But what I really love about this time of year is it always feels like the perfect time to get back to a consistent family schedule of school and activities. Plus, Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday of the year. I love everything about it—the food, the decor, the traditions and the time to be home and grateful for the simple things. (more…)

Summer birthdays are my favorite. The temps are warm, days are free and everyone is in the mood for an outdoor party. The Party Where It’s Totally Okay to Play with Your Food

Christmas Brunch with Personalized Plates

When we spotted Jenny Keller’s (aka Jenny Cookies) latest party, we just knew we had to share it with you. It is beyond cute, and, as usual, Jenny is at the top of her game. Now I may be biased since I have been known to watch gingerbread house decorating contests on the Food Network, but there is nothing that says holiday time like adding sweets to an adorable little house. Start the whole thing off with a brunch that encourages your kids to play with their food? We’re sold. (more…)
