Our fabulous contributor Emily, of Entertaining with Emily, isn’t the only mom out there to loathe that mountain of artwork and papers that comes home with the kids every week. Of course, as parents we want to proudly display all their efforts and successes, but isn’t there a way to do it so it doesn’t look like a tornado hit the fridge? Why yes, there is! (more…)
Back when I started Little Crown Interiors, one of my very first clients was living in a traditional home in Beverly Hills but loved modern design. I worked with her to come up with a compromise for her son’s room. But with her tenth birthday around the corner and a little bit of mom guilt, I suddenly felt compelled to create a tween room for my baby girl. (more…)
No, I’m kidding. I definitely don’t want to be a teenager again, but I do wish I had RH TEEN available to me when I was decorating my room as a teen! It’s fun to see companies branching out into these niche markets. While the collection is trying to catch the eye of teens and tweens, many of these pieces would work as great accents in any space.
